Setup cost explanation:
- For homes that have uninterrupted service, there is only a $100 setup. This covers our costs to change emergency 911 service information, provision changes on the network, network identification changes, etc..
- For homes that have had an interruption in service the setup fee covers equipment installation and configuration. When a home disconnects service we remove the equipment to upgrade and maintain software and UPS batteries.
